A photographic portrait seeks to tease one out.

People are fascinating. Some gaze at you with an invitation into their souls while others hold their cards close, leaving you to guess what lies within. Sometimes a portrait will ask the viewer to make up their own story. From my early days as a budding photographer, my friends had to get used to the frequent snap of my Canon AE-1.
